Build shed: deployments
Code changes are packaged and released through a repeatable, automated process, so a release is routine rather than risky.
Includes separate test and live environments where the project needs them.
Store: backups
Databases and files are backed up on a schedule, and restore steps are written down and tried, not just assumed.
Signal box: monitoring
Basic health checks and error alerts let problems be noticed early. What gets monitored is agreed per service.
Gatehouse: access
Who can reach servers and admin panels is kept to a short, documented list, with credentials handed over to you.
